Dental Assistant Course Attendance Methods:
We understand the difficulty and commitment that goes into working towards starting your new career. That’s why NC Dental U and Dental Assistant U offer multiple attendance methods*; we believe in giving you the options that will work best for your schedule, learning styles, and preferences.
(IP) In-Person Classes: All aspects of this class require in-person attendance at designated class times.
(SGH) Self-Guided Hybrid Classes: The lecture portion of this class is all online (asynchronous).
This portion of the program has been designed for your success and includes narrated PowerPoints and engaging exercises that students find fun AND informative! The students will complete weekly assignments at their own pace and report to class on Clinical Days for additional hands-on training with our wonderful team of instructors!
The clinical portion of this training is hands-on, taught in person at a designated time in one of our state-of-the-art dental training facilities.
(HIL) Hybrid Instructor-Led Classes: The lecture portion of this class is taught online with a live instructor leading the class (synchronous). Class meets at a designated time each week, and students must be present online with cameras on throughout the duration.
The clinical portion of this training is taught hands-on, in person, at one of our state-of-the-art dental training facilities.
(OD) On-Demand Classes: These courses are 100% online and self-guided. They can be done at the student’s own pace and schedule.
